Our first community night in our new space is this coming tuesday!
Here are the details:
when: tuesday, june 17th, 7 pm
where: 435 23rd st, at illinois, in the dogpatch! (San francisco Storage building)
how: because we're in an office-type room upstairs from storage units, access is a little tricky (there is a gate with a key code, and then a door with a key code). just call us when you arrive --- phone number is at the top of the page --- and we'll run down and let you in.
parking: there is plenty
public transport: the t line!
biking: watch out for the train tracks
If you've never been to a community night, it's essentially an art party. we'll have an art or craft project you can work on, or you can bring your own. there are snacks and things to drink, and we talk about what we've been working on and how the life of making stuff is going. community nights are a way to connect with each other as friends and craftspeople, and we enjoy them so much.
Because moving is expensive, we'll also have some stuff for sale this time --- prints, journals, excess paper, and a few sundries that we needed in the old space but won't need in the new (like lamps, for instance).
We can't wait to see you there! We've missed you, and we've so appreciated your support and concern as we said goodbye to our old space and embarked upon the new!
